Rattlesnake Removals

Great Basin Rattlesnake

If you find a rattlesnake in your yard, garage, house, or commercial site, please phone us and we will quickly come remove it. We do not remove or relocate snakes in nature and on hiking trails - that is their habitat. We have been trained in the removal and the safe relocation of rattlesnakes. They must be relocated within 1 mile of where they were captured or they will starve to death. For those that can’t be safely relocated, we are working with a venom researcher that will take the nuisance snakes where they will live in a safe facility and will be well cared for. They will be milked for their venom. The venom will be studied for many uses including possible medical applications.

Please don’t try to move the snake yourself. Keep an eye on it from a safe distance until we can get there to remove it. Please don’t throw things at it or annoy it – this can injure the snake and could result in a strike to you. Please keep your pets indoors as well.

Rattlesnakes are protected in the state of Utah. We have the permit to remove and relocate the snakes. We have also taken venomous snake handling courses. The safety for you and your family is important to us. We attend continuing education courses to better understand these animals and continually train to handle in the safest way possible. We have never sustained a bite in our work with rattlesnakes.
